COOKIE POLICY

This policy explains how DeliveryLinx ("DeliveryLinx," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and application. It works alongside our Privacy Policy. The short version: we use only the cookies needed to sign you in and run the product, plus a few that remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognize your session and remember basic information between pages. Similar technologies (such as local storage) do the same job. We use both, and refer to all of them here as "cookies."

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on). These keep you signed in and let the application work. They include your authentication session (so you do not have to log in on every page), security cookies that protect against fraud and cross-site request forgery, and cookies our hosting and database providers set to route and balance traffic. The DeliveryLinx driver link stores your session in a secure, HTTP-only cookie so a driver stays signed in to their route. The app cannot function without these, so they do not require consent.

Functional / preference. These remember choices you make, such as your language selection, so the app comes back the way you left it. They are optional to the core service but improve your experience.

Advertising and cross-site tracking: none. We do not run ads, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. DeliveryLinx does not use third-party analytics or marketing trackers on the driver and operator surfaces.

3. Third parties that set essential cookies

A small number of the providers that run the platform set strictly necessary cookies on our behalf, for example our authentication and database provider (Supabase) and our hosting provider (Vercel). They act as our processors and use these cookies only to deliver the service to us, not for their own advertising. See the "How we share information" section of our Privacy Policy for how subprocessors are handled.

4. Why we do not show a cookie banner

Because we use only strictly necessary and basic functional cookies, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, most privacy laws do not require a consent pop-up. If that ever changes (for example, if we add optional analytics), we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

5. How to control cookies

You can view, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent core features (such as staying on a route) from working. On mobile, you control app permissions (location, camera, microphone) separately in your device settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. We will post the new date above and, for material changes, notify account owners.
