DeliveryLinx ("DeliveryLinx," "we," "us") provides transportation management software for delivery and freight contractors. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and the DeliveryLinx application.
1. Information we collect
Account and contact information you provide (name, business name, email, phone). Operational data you enter or upload to run your business (loads, stops, routes, rates, invoices, settlements, carriers, drivers, vehicles, documents). Usage and device information collected automatically (IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, timestamps) to operate and secure the service.
In the DeliveryLinx mobile app, with your permission, we also collect: precise location while you are using the app on an active route or load, to share live progress with your dispatcher, detect off-route driving, and confirm on-time arrival (location sharing pauses when the app is not in use and stops when the route ends or you pause it); camera images to scan package barcodes and capture proof-of-delivery photos; microphone audio and speech recognition when a driver records a voice note or checks in hands-free by voice; and photos a driver chooses to attach as proof of delivery. These permissions power delivery features only, are never used for advertising or to track you across other apps, and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
2. How we use information
To provide and operate the service, process the work you ask us to perform (billing, dispatch, settlement, compliance), secure and improve the platform, communicate with you about your account, and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
3. SMS and text messaging
If you enable SMS, DeliveryLinx sends operational, transactional text messages (dispatch alerts, load assignments, departure, arrival, delivery, proof of delivery, and two-way coordination) to phone numbers you and your contracted carriers and drivers provide. Recipients opt in to these messages by accepting an assigned load through their private DeliveryLinx link, which presents an SMS consent notice, or by texting our dispatch number first. Message frequency varies with load activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, and HELP for assistance. SMS is delivered through our messaging provider (Twilio), which acts as our processor.
No mobile information (including text messaging originator opt-in data and consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party. The only sharing of mobile information is with the subprocessors that deliver the messaging service to us (such as Twilio), strictly to operate the SMS program on our behalf.
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers (subprocessors) that help us run the platform, such as hosting, database, email, SMS, and payment providers, each bound to protect it and use it only to provide their service to us. We may share information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety, and in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets). As stated above, mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are excluded from all sharing and are never provided to third parties for their own use.
5. Data ownership and your content
The operational data you put into DeliveryLinx is yours. We act as a processor of that data on your behalf and use it to provide the service. You can export or request deletion of your data, subject to records we must retain for legal, tax, or audit purposes.
6. Security and retention
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level data isolation between accounts. No system is perfectly secure. We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the application. We do not use advertising trackers. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.
8. Your choices and rights
You can update your information, opt out of SMS (reply STOP), and request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Drivers can request account and data deletion directly in the app: open your Profile and tap Delete my account & data; your operator verifies the request, removes or anonymizes your personal data, and confirms. You can also request deletion any time at deliverylinx.com/contact. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
9. Children
DeliveryLinx is a business tool not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new date above and, for material changes, notify account owners.
